Academics
B.S. in Marine Sciences
As a marine sciences major at UF, I am part of an interdisciplinary program which requires coursework in oceanography, statistics, fisheries and aquatic sciences, and invertebrate biodiversity, while allowing students to explore the fields of biology, chemistry, ecology, economics, engineering, geology, physics, and human dimensions. I am attempting to incorporate a number of disciplines into my degree, including evolutionary and organismal biology, bioinformatics, statistics, communication, and ecology.
